We started Aurino because buying nice furniture online in the UK was either glossy and overpriced, or cheap and disappointing. There was not much in between.
We used to run a physical showroom in the West Midlands. Lovely space, terrible economics. The rent, the floor staff, the lighting bill — all of it was being added to the price of the furniture before it ever reached a customer. We closed the showroom in 2023 and went online-only. The savings showed up on the price tags within a month, and they have stayed there.
Most of the pieces we sell come from the same UK and European factories that supply the big-name retailers. We do not invent the products. We just take out the middle layer and pass the difference back. A sintered-stone dining table that retails at £1,400 in a high-street showroom sells with us at around £900 because we do not have a high-street showroom.
We are a small team. Nathan answers the phone. If something goes wrong with your order, you speak to one of us, not a call centre. That is not a marketing line. It is the only way we know how to run this.
