Refund timelines by payment method

Once a refund is approved, how quickly the money lands in your account depends on how you paid. Here is what to expect.

When the refund clock starts

Refunds are issued from our end once a return is received and inspected, or once a cancellation is confirmed. The clearing windows below begin from that point, not from when you posted the item back.

Typical clearing windows

  • Debit and credit card — 3 to 5 business days. Your bank releases the funds back to your statement; in most cases the refund is visible within 3 days.
  • PayPal — Usually same-day into your PayPal balance, then up to 2 business days if you have it withdraw to a linked bank account.
  • Apple Pay and Google Pay — 3 to 5 business days. These run on the underlying card, so the timeline matches debit and credit card refunds.
  • Pay It Monthly (finance) — Varies depending on whether instalments have started. Cancellations before dispatch close the agreement cleanly; partial refunds adjust the remaining balance. We confirm the details on the refund email.
  • Bank transfer — 1 to 2 business days once issued.

If the refund hasn't arrived

If 5 business days have passed and you still cannot see the refund, check the original payment account first. If it is still missing, forward your refund confirmation email to contact@aurino.co.uk and we will trace it with you.
