Two-person delivery explained

For larger or heavier items, we send two people instead of one. Here is how to spot it on your order and what to expect on the day.

Which items get two-person delivery

Two-person service is automatic for:

  • Sofas and corner units
  • Large dining tables (typically 8-seater and above, or solid-stone tops)
  • Beds and mattresses larger than a single
  • Wardrobes and large cabinets
  • Some flooring orders over a certain pack count

If your order qualifies, you will see two-person delivery noted on your order confirmation. There is no extra charge for it — it is built into how we quote delivery on larger pieces.

What to expect on the day

  • A two-hour call-ahead window the day before, then a courtesy call when the team is around 30 minutes away.
  • Delivery is to your ground-floor room of choice as standard.
  • The team will unbox and remove all packaging on request, subject to vehicle capacity.
  • For items going upstairs or to a different floor, please arrange this in advance so the team plans for the extra time.

What is not included

  • Assembly, unless explicitly stated on the product page or arranged separately.
  • Wall-fixing, plumbing, or electrical connection.
  • Removal of old furniture. Please arrange this separately if needed.

If something goes wrong

If access is tighter than expected — narrow doorways, tight stairwell turns — the team will discuss options on the day. If we cannot deliver to the room you wanted, we leave it ground-floor and refund any associated handling charge.
