Questions we get asked

Can I fit wall panels myself?
Most people do. They go up with a strong grab adhesive, or screws where you want them fully secure, and they cut with a fine-tooth saw. Slat acoustic panels are mounted on a felt backing that you can cut between the slats, which makes fitting around sockets and edges more forgiving than it looks.
Do the acoustic slat panels actually reduce noise?
They reduce echo and reverberation within the room, which is what makes a space sound softer and less harsh, and they look the part while doing it. They are not soundproofing between rooms, so they will not stop noise passing through the wall. We would rather tell you that now than have you disappointed later.
Can I use wall panels in a bathroom or behind a fireplace?
It depends on the panel. Some of our ranges cope with a steamy bathroom, and heat behind or near a fireplace is a separate question that depends on the exact distances and the panel material. Tell us where it is going and we will tell you honestly whether it is suitable.
Do you deliver for free?
Yes, to most of the UK mainland. A handful of remote postcodes carry a surcharge, and if yours is one of them we tell you before you pay, never after. We do not quietly fund free delivery with a higher price on everything else.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes, with genuinely interest-free finance on furniture. Pay it off over several months and you pay back exactly what the item cost, not a penny more. We never charge interest, full stop. You will see the finance option at checkout.
What is your returns policy?
You have 28 days to return an unused item in its original condition. The one cost that falls to you is return postage on an unwanted item, because larger furniture is not cheap to send back. If something has actually gone wrong with the item, that is a different conversation and it is on us.
