Description
Scotia is the small piece of beading that covers the expansion gap left around the perimeter of a fitted floor. Every floor needs a small expansion gap so the planks can move with humidity changes; without scotia, that gap is visible at the wall edge. Boring but essential.

How to measure
Measure the perimeter of your room (the total length of all walls that touch the new floor). Divide by 2.4 to work out how many 2.4m lengths you need; round up.
Colour matching
We can usually find a close match for any of the floors we sell, though an exact match is not always possible. If you are unsure, send us your floor choice and we will recommend a beading colour.
