Questions we get asked

What size rug do I need?
Measure the space first. In a living room, choose a rug big enough for at least the front legs of the sofa and chairs to sit on it, which pulls the seating together. Under a dining table, allow about 60cm beyond the table edge on every side so the chairs stay on the rug when pulled out. In a bedroom, let it reach 50 to 60cm past each side of the bed. Every rug page lists the sizes it comes in.
How do I look after my rug?
Vacuum it regularly, and on shaggy or faux fur rugs switch off the rotating brush. Blot spills straight away with a clean, damp cloth rather than rubbing, and turn the rug every few months so it wears evenly. For a deep stain, a professional rug cleaner is the safest bet.
Will my new rug shed?
Most new rugs shed a little loose fibre for the first few weeks, especially thicker and shaggy styles. It is normal and settles down with regular vacuuming.
Do you deliver rugs for free?
Yes. Every rug is delivered free to the UK mainland until 8 November. A handful of remote postcodes carry a surcharge, and if yours is one of them we tell you before you pay, never after.
Can I spread the cost?
Orders over £100 can usually be spread with Pay It Monthly at 0% interest. Most rugs cost less than that on their own, so finance tends to apply when a rug is part of a bigger order. If it is available you will see it at checkout before you pay. We never charge interest, full stop.
What is your returns policy?
You have 28 days to return an unused item in its original condition. The one cost that falls to you is return postage on an unwanted item, because larger furniture is not cheap to send back. If something has actually gone wrong with the item, that is a different conversation and it is on us.
