The Strata Eighteen Farmhouse Oak 155 is engineered oak flooring with a multi-layer construction — the visible top is real hardwood; the core is a stable plywood/fibreboard build that handles temperature and humidity changes better than solid wood. 18mm thick overall, 155mm wide, with a lacquered finish for daily wear.

Installation
- Acclimatise planks in the room for 48 to 72 hours
- Subfloor must be level (max 2mm over 2m), dry, clean
- Concrete subfloors should be below 75% relative humidity
- Lay underlay if required
- Start from the longest, straightest wall
- Use the tongue-and-groove connection — angle plank at 20-25 degrees and press down
- 10 to 15mm expansion gap around all edges and fixed objects
- Stagger end joints by at least 300mm between rows
- Finish with beading or skirting
Underfloor heating
Compatible with underfloor heating. Maximum surface temperature 27°C. Switch the heating off 48 hours before installation and ramp up gradually over 2 weeks after.

- Damp mop with a pH-neutral wood floor cleaner
